My Sister’s New Dresser
Lately Friday or Saturday mornings (or oh, ok, both) have been filled with garage sales. It’s one of my favorite this.means.it’s.summer. activities to do.
I am currently using the “I’m looking for wedding stuff” excuse. But really I am. I try to give myself a $10-20 budget a week and see if I can find things that are more affordable to buy then to rent. For instance, when silverware and glasses are 15 cents…cheaper to buy.
And this weekend my sister and I spotted this buffet. She LOVED it (as did I) but she has more of a weakness for all things dresser or dresser-like. But we both looked at each other with the I-don’t-feel-like-moving-that-today look. Luckily, they delivered! So for $35 total…it is now in her place.
