That’s craziness, right? You can find it right here at Target. Come August, if you are on a budget or in a small space it is the perfect time to start looking at home furnishings. All the “dorm room furniture” to me is just furniture that is more affordable than it usually is and there is a different selection. When I was 18 and 19 and in my first apartment it was thrift stores and “dorm stuff” in my apartment. It was the only “real shopping” I could afford. And over the years it has just gotten better.
Oh Pillow Shams
I love the noncommittal nature of pillowcases. I get the best of both worlds: my love of all things white and safe and experimenting with different palettes and designs. Who knew a pillowcase could give so much?
These are $39 for a set of two. My fingers are crossed that they will go on sale in the future.
I Love a Felt Storage Bin
I *just* bought a very similar one for myself and a few for my friend. For awhile it was bizarrely challenging to find an affordable felt storage container. If you have ever priced industrial felt you will learn 1) it is pricey and 2) comes in very limited colors and 3) why was I pricing industrial felt? Who knows.
But now they are here and $16!
